Friar Benet’s Kitchen serves the homeless and struggling of London’s East End. Hot meals are served on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while free clothes, showers, haircuts are offered on Wednesdays.
Since 2000, we have been serving the people of London’s East End. We established Friar Benet’s Kitchen for homeless and struggling locals, providing hot meals, free clothes, showers haircuts three days a week.
Once a month we run our Discipleship Day, which focuses on how we can become better disciples of Jesus through prayer and learning more about our Catholic faith. Every two months we host Catholic Underground, a night of worship and fellowship for young adults.
We also minister to the faithful through preaching parish missions, spiritual direction, youth retreats, pilgrimages, and other evangelisation events.
